Almost six out of 10 people believe that there are not enough legal hurdles to deter couples from rushing into divorce.

A poll was conducted by the Office of National Statistics. Two thirds of those polled thought that infidelity of one or more spouses is the main cause of relationship drama. 57% agreed that “it was too easy to divorce these days”

Women were slightly more inclined to agree with the statement than men (59% vs 55%). Not only that, most young people aged 18 to 24 also agreed.
