We’re delighted to welcome Daryl Atherton to Beeston Shenton, where he joins our dispute resolution team. Born and raised in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Daryl brings local roots, nine years of litigation experience and a genuinely client-first approach to the firm, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.
A local solicitor with a long-standing passion for the law
Daryl’s interest in law started many years ago, sparked by watching TV court dramas and being fascinated by how judges cut through complex disputes, weighed up the evidence and arrived at a fair decision. That early curiosity turned into a career.
He graduated from Keele University with an LLB in 2016, completed his Legal Practice Course at Staffordshire University in 2017, and qualified as a solicitor in 2024. Over the past nine years, he has worked at multiple firms across Staffordshire and Cheshire, focusing primarily on dispute resolution and personal injury matters.
For Daryl, joining Beeston Shenton is a homecoming of sorts: an opportunity to bring his expertise back to the community he grew up in, helping local individuals and businesses navigate the legal challenges they face.
