Beeston Shenton Solicitors are delighted to announce the arrival to the firm of Sarah Johnson, Head of the Family Department for the Cheshire area. Sarah joins us on Monday 1st April and brings a wealth of experience with her.
Sarah is a key appointment to the firm, a family law solicitor specialising in all aspects of family law with over 25 years experience. She graduated from Staffordshire University and has worked in or around Staffordshire for the majority of her career. Sarah is accredited by Resolution as a Specialised Family Lawyer with a particular specialism in Advocacy Financial Remedy proceedings and private law children matters. She is also the current Regional Liaison officer and Membership Development Officer of Staffordshire Resolution.
Working from our Sandbach and Newcastle offices Sarah will undertake all aspects of family law including:-
- Separation, dissolution and divorce
- Complex financial proceedings which may include business assets, pensions and inherited property
- Cohabitation or living together agreements
- Pre and postnuptial agreements
- Separation agreements
- Complex children matters involving substance, mental health and abuse
- Domestic violence
In children matters to prevent the removal of the children from the jurisdiction, Sarah has acted for parents and also extended members of a family including grandparents.
Sarah sees her role as assisting clients through a difficult and emotional time in their lives. She aims to help clients through the difficult process offering practical sensible advice and prides herself on going the extra mile.
